Protection of the environment, preservation of biodiversity and sustainability
Every activity carried out on our farm has a strong “green” vocation, with the awareness and responsibility that small daily choices can make a difference in moving towards a better future under the banner of a more harmonious relationship between man and nature.
- We mainly use integrated farming methods with organic fertilisers and natural manure from our livestock.
- We have chosen to have an ASL office directly on the farm dedicated to monitoring every step of our supply chain, ensuring product safety and animal welfare.
- We respect the cycles of nature, following seasonal rhythms and avoiding intensive methods.
- We maintain over 330 hectares of green land to protect its fertility and prevent erosion and degradation, ensuring biodiversity among multiple plants and animals for a rich and balanced ecosystem.
- We promote waste reduction through recycling, transforming organic residues into natural fertilisers for our land for more sustainable resource management.
- We pursue a closed production chain where the stages, from cultivation to processing, take place mainly within the farm, with a true circular economy model.
- We guarantee animal welfare through natural feeding with fodder from our land, ventilation of the stables, freedom of movement outdoors and maximum hygiene and health control.
- We mainly produce energy from renewable sources through a photovoltaic system that will cover almost all of the farm’s needs, thus reducing our environmental impact.
- We reduce consumption and pollution with a production chain that takes place on the farm and with the prevalence of products that are then transported to nearby farm shops.
- We adhere to the “zero kilometre” philosophy: the specialities in the farm shops come mainly from our fields and farms, ensuring freshness, authenticity and transparency.
